Franco Nero is the Italian stallion of the Spaghetti Western genre. He rode into fame as the deadly gunslinger Django (1966) directed by Sergio Corbucci. After that breakout, he went on to star in dozens of Italian genre pictures in the 60s and 70s. These include many Giallo films, Italian crime films, and Spaghetti Westerns.
